Discover the natural beauty of Paracas National Reserve and Ballestas Islands, which host several species of birds, sea lions, fish as well as various marine species.
What to Expect
The tour will leave early in the morning at 3:45am from your hotel in Lima. Your tour guide and driver will be waiting for you at the lobby entrance some minutes before your tour starts.
As soon as you get to the vehicle, your tour guide will give you a box lunch including a fresh drink, a small piece of cake or sandwich and some chips or candies. Arrive at Paracas at approximately 7:30am. Then, head toward the El Chaco dock in order to get in the first boat to the Ballestas Islands. During the visit, you will see the Bay of Paracas, Punta Pejerrey and, on the islands, a natural habitat with sea lions, seagulls, penguins and other species. Remember to protect your belongings from the water because you will get wet.
Some time afterwards, enjoy a visit to Paracas National Reserve where you will get a detailed explanation of the history and importance of this place. See the Port of Don Jose de San Martin, the cathedral (Rocky formation that suffered severe damage in 2007), the Inrena Center, Flamingo Viewpoint and Lagunillas Beach. After the visit, relax and enjoy your lunch eating fresh marine and/or typical creole dishes from the coast of Peru in a seafront restaurant.
Finally, during your return to Lima, stop by Naldo Navarro Winery located in Chincha. Taste and enjoy some of the best piscos and wines produced in the Inca region. You will also have the chance to buy and take some bottles home. Arrive back in Lima at approximately 7:00pm.
