What People Are Saying About Lido di Venezia
it was nice to see the glass island(Murano) and old island(Torcello) and the colorfull houses island(Burano) I will definitely do it if I was in Venice for only few days.
Would recommend if you want to have brief visits to all 3 Islands in a short time. We had approx 45mins on each island. Boat had seats for everybody and was comfortable. You could pay €20 for the same trip from the ticket office on the Quay. Take your own drinks and food for the day with you as limited time and availability everywhere.
We had a great experience. The guide was very kind and helpful, so were the boat staff. The main landmarks and their significance was very well explained. The boats used are really spacious and suitable even with little kids.
It was an awesome tour. I just wish it was a tiny bit longer. The time spent in Murano and Burano went so fast could have easily spent more time in both especially Burano.
You will have to expect much chatter on the boat by clients of different languages, fun but made it hard to hear and focus on the guides comments. Very smoothly sorted otherwise. Well worth going this way unless you lots of time to spare to do each island separately. Best unguided on land too, like this one was (by contrast the guided land groups seemed pointless and inconsiderate to others - too big for the tight alleys to hear the guide and annoyingly blocked walkways). Murrano was a bit rushed but otherwise this was perfect for us.
