Full description
Ride on your snowmobile and learn all about one of the favourite pastimes of the local people in Lapland- ice fishing. Take a leisurely cruise on our snowmobiles across the snowy arctic landscape and through beautiful forests, to a scenic frozen lake specially chosen by your local fishing expert and guide. Here, you will learn the secrets of ice fishing, shown techniques designed to maximise your chances of making a successful 'catch', all whilst you relax in a tranquil setting. Catching a fish is not guaranteed, but if you are patient, you have a good chance!
This tour also offers a small picnic in the wild where you can warm up by a campfire and grill sausages – and if you're lucky, you will also get to cook your own fish. The activity ends with a return snowmobile ride back to your starting point.

- Car or motorcycle driving licence is required to drive a snowmobile
- Pricing is based on 2 people riding on one snowmobile
- Not recommended for participants with heart complaints, disabilities, asthma, diabetes
- You must be 18 or over to drive a snowmobile
- Children will ride on a snowmobile-pulled sled behind the guide
- Participants under the age of 15, may participate as a passenger on a snowmobile only if they are 140cm tall or above, and have booked at the adult price, otherwise they must ride on a sled behind the guide
- Young children must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times
- Not suitable for children aged 3 and under
- Operates in cold weather conditions, please dress appropriately
