The museum is wonderful, especially with children. But the exhibits are educational and not actual artifacts, like in the Galileo Museum. I had seen all these same things at home in Denver. If you have the time and interest then I definitely recommend it. However, it is not unique to Florence so if time is limited you may want to prioritize other things.

The experience here was a lot of fun! You are able to learn about so much of da Vinci's work as an engineer and inventor. You are able to interact with so many things in side while also moving at your own pace. Anyone can spend anywhere from 30 min to 3 hours.

Super recomendo. Um passeio para todas as idades.
