What People Are Saying About Leipzig
We were passing through Leipzig and had a 7 hour stopover. We found this tour on the internet and thought it would give us a good overview for the time that we had. The company offered only a combined German/English tour and not an English only so we had no choice with this respect. We found ourselves the only two English speakers in the whole group and were quite concerned about the attention the guide would pay to us. Quite to the contrary, our guide gave an excellent tour, giving equal time to us on every respect. We never felt like a minority. The guide was excellent in her telling of the history of both the town and people embellished with many humorous anecdotes. A highly recommended tour.
Danke.
Though it is noted in the tour description, it was not immediately clear to me that the tour would be conducted in German only. This was okay for me but my partner speaks only a little German. Apart from this the tour was very comprehensive and gave a good overview of the main sites and informed us about the history of Leipzig.
Very good tour. Just the right amount of time to orient yourself so that you could explore the city!
An improvement would be to have English and German tours separately as it would give more time to view each attraction in more detail.
