What People Are Saying About Last Supper
Unfortunatly the organisation was very poor there was no one there to meet me at the designated place to collect my ticket. After alot of serching and asking numerous people I was directed to the ticket office. They were very helpful and found my booking online and issued a ticket. It was a good job I had arrived early or I would have missed my slot. This needs to be rectified for future customers. Very poor and stressful.
Definitely recommend using this service. Having our reservation in advance took all the stress and uncertainty out of our visit. We had a 1pm viewing, so arrived in the area about 45 minutes before (to have a look around). Our representative arrived to give us our Duomo tickets. We then took our printed vouchers to the ticket office to get our entry tickets. There is a reception room to wait for your slot (be there at least 15 minutes before your time as they are prompt). Groups are let in and given 15 minutes to view the painting. It was larger than expected and very interesting. You can take photos with camera/phones but NO FLASH. Well worth it.
It is not easy to get the last supper reservation. I checked several online sites and found this site offered available slots in my preferable visiting time and date with a reasonable price. The online process was smooth and I got the PDF confirmation slip soon. The Duomo (Milan Cathedral) ticket was given by an agent of GetYourTicket in front of the delle Grazie. I was thinking Duomo was an additional option comparing to the Last Supper, which was my main target, but the Duomo museum was also impressive and worth visiting.
Attended 5.15 viewing. Arrived at 5.00 pm. The rep was already there, easily recognised, polite, friendly and very helpful. It took 5 minutes to collect our tickets and gain entry to the site.
The staff of this tour was at the meeting point around 10 minutes before. It would be better to exchange a voucher to the ticket at the reception of the church and go inside of the waiting area at least 5 minutes before. I saw a couple insisting to a church staff that they were just on time of the reservation time but the group they should join had already left from the waiting area. The system to enter into the room where the last supper is is very organized. Only 15 minutes are allowed to appreciate it for a small group consisted of around 30 people, but much better to see it in a crowd. I could get the Milan Cathedral Museum Ticket from the staff there but I had to schedule to go to the cathedral before. It would be better to join this activity in the beginning of Milan trip.
