Full description
This informative tour of the Grand Canyon’s West Rim – home of the famous Skywalk – is a full-day of adventure and fun. Departing Las Vegas early in the morning, you will stop for breakfast then drive through Boulder City, the first planned community in the United States. This is the only town in Nevada without legalized gambling, so you'll be free of the jangle of slot machines. Stop at the new bypass bridge and get incredible pictures of the Mighty Hoover Dam. Once at the West Rim you will board the Hualapai Tribes Legacy Tour to view Eagle Point and Guano Point. Your time here is entirely your own and you will have a lunch ticket you may use to eat right on the rim. Enjoy the amazing views, or treat yourself to a trip on the glass Skywalk, built over the edge of the canyon, for a small extra charge. Throughout the 10-hour tour you will be traveling in an air-conditioned motor coach, mini bus, tour van or SUV, depending on the number of people booked. Fully trained professional tour guides will be with you all the way and you will make numerous photo stops on the drive through the ancient Joshua Tree Forest.

There are so many Grand Canyon trips to choose from and I'm glad I chose this one. We stopped at Hoover Dam for pictures. We ate breakfast and lunch which was included in the fee. Our tour guide informed us about the history of different landmarks as we passed certain areas which was very educational. We also had time to rest while traveling there and back. By far one of our best tour during our trip.

The day was not ideal because of the extremely high temperatures, but the tour was still very good. It would have been excellent on a nice day. Our guide Joe was funny and knew a lot about the area. Always patient with the people that wouldn’t return to the bus on time. Why is there always someone who acts like this? Bernie, our driver, was very careful and polite. The Grand Canyon is beautiful and we had a good amount of time to admire it.

Overall everything was good. there was a slight hickup with the pass for our skywalk, but it was resolved before we got on the bus. Our tour guide was informative and funny. I do wish we had a little longer at Eagle point. We did the walk with pictures, so there was no time to see the tents and other things outside. I would buy this tour again.
