Lardos

Tale a high-speed boat cruise to Symi, of the Dodecanese's most beautiful islands set amid the brilliant blue sea. Enjoy a fast boat service that gives you more time to explore the island. On the way, stop for swimming at Saint George’s bay. Begin your high-speed cruise at Mandraki Harbor as you set sail for Symi. On arrival, admire the turquoise water of the fishing harbor, the pastel-colored neoclassical buildings that frame the bay, and the colorful church domes dotting the landscape. Disembark at Symi and enjoy approximately 3 hours to explore the fishing town on your own. Have lunch at one of the numerous traditional tavernas (at your expense) or swim in the glittering waters. Depart Symi and admire the coastal views as you sail through Saint George’s Bay. (From the end of september and october we will be going to St Georges Bay first as if we go after Symi, the bay will be already shaded and the ocean colours wont be like shown.) Stop for a dip in the crystal clear waters or soak up the sunshine on deck before making your way back to Rhodes.

Spend the day exploring Lindos and head to the Acropolis with a guide to learn the history of the monument. Walk 20 minutes uphill through the narrow streets of the town, and take 250 steps up to the temple to see the views from the very top. A licensed guide will accompany you and tell you the story of the island and Lindos. Explore the ancient site and take photos of the breathtaking view. During the tour, you will also pass a Byzantine church and the remains of the castle citadel of the Knights of St. John. Lastly, explore the scenic village of Lindos at your own pace and maybe grab an eat. At the end, board the bus to return to your hotel.

Visit the island of Symi on a day trip by boat from Rhodes. Our bus will pick you up in the morning and transfer you to Mandraki port, from where you will get on the boat. At 09.00 we will start sailing to Kallithea Bay, and then to the sandy Tsampika beach, where you will enjoy buffet lunch on board. Our next stop will be at Afandou Beach and finally, our last stop, to the famous Anthony Quinn bay! At the end of the day, in the afternoon, we will sail back to to Mandraki port (return at 17.00), where our buses will be waiting in order to take you back to your hotel.

Start your tour with a drive to Mandraki Harbour, viewing the three traditional windmills near St. Nicholas Medieval Fort, the new market, and the Public Administration buildings all of which reflect the history of Rhodes Town. At the entrance of Mandraki Harbour, don’t miss the two statues of the deer, where it is believed the Colossos of Rhodes once stood. Continuing, we drive to Monte Smith once the Acropolis of Ancient Rhodes. From the tumbled massive pillars of the temple of Athena, the view encompasses the Temple of Apollo, the ancient stadium of Diagoras and the port. Entering the fortified city through the Amboise Gate we walk to the Grand Master Palace. You will continue down the Street of the Knights, its paths paved with colorful marble and superb mosaics, past medieval towers and emblazoned facades. With free time to spare, you will be dazzled by the variety of small shops selling everything from handmade jewelry and fine quality leather to handicrafts and souvenirs.
