Experience Reindeer Farm, Husky Sled Ride & Santa Claus Village! Your day will start with transfer to the farm, where you will be able to ride your own reindeer sledge in a brief, 500m long ride. Your newly learned skills will be rewarded with a Reindeer Sledge Driver’s License! Next, make your way to the Alaskan Huskies where you will find these beautiful, loyal, and energetic companions. Experience the Alaskan Huskies in action on a 500m long sleigh ride. Enjoy a traditional salmon soup or vegetarian soup lunch during your visit and listen to the local reindeer herders as they tell you more about the herding lifestyle and how it is to be a reindeer herder in the 21st century. After the farm visit, you will be taken to the Santa Claus Village where you will have some free time to explore at your own pace. You have the opportunity to experience the Christmas atmosphere, step across the Arctic Circle, meet Santa Claus and children under 140cm can try mini snowmobiling for 10 minutes on our mini-track. Discover the Korouoma Canyon, a 30-kilometer-long and 130-meter-deep canyon located southeast of Rovaniemi which offers breathtaking scenery all year round. During the winter, admire the stunning sight of waterfalls that have transformed into fantastic ice formations. Start with pickup from your accommodation around Rovaniemi, or in the city center, and set off for the Korouoma Canyon nature reserve. Start the tour with a hike through the park, admiring spectacular scenery including cliffs, rapids, and waterfalls. Keep your eyes sharp to observe an array of rare species that call the area home. Snowshoes are optional but may be useful if you need more confidence when hiking down the canyon or just want to enjoy some deep snow walks. Drive away from the city to the place with the highest chance of seeing the Northern Lights. Find a warm spot to set up the fire and sit and wait for the show. Benefit from knowing that the more time you spend outside, the greater the chance of you seeing the lights. Usually, you can view the Aurora in the middle of a huge frozen lake or river. Embark on an experience visiting up to 3 locations to give you the best chance of seeing the Northern Lights. Huddle around the fire with your guide, who will also tell you all about traditional animals and customs.

This 2-hour adventure offers you the opportunity to take a snowmobile for a quick spin and master the art of driving these fascinating vehicles.  You will be driving across the frozen arctic nature, accompanied by an experienced guide, enjoying the magical winter landscapes of Lapland. During the safari, stop for a break to enjoy a hot drink and experience the silence of the vast and beautiful Rovaniemi wilderness. 

Our tour start from Rovaniemi. We will then head out of the city, far from city lights and find the best locations. We try to get early to the spot to see the aurora in time, and we don’t leave until the aurora is over. The tour is very flexible, starting time can be from 5-8pm depending by weather conditions (its very hard to have any specific time because the weather is changing all the time) and each night we choose a different spot and departure time. In case if we don’t have northern lights , we will make full refund . Travel in a minibus so you can reach remote and distant places in the countryside. And don't worry about the cold temperatures: insulated whole-body suits are provided to keep you warm. Keep in mind that on some nights it’s too cloudy everywhere or solar activity is too small. In this cases tour will be cancelled ( you will have full refund ) or postponed (in case of availability).

Snowman World is the most exhilarating snowy playground of the Santa Claus Village, located on the Arctic Circle in Rovaniemi, where you can enjoy a day of thrilling winter activities. We expect you to experience the spectacular snow and ice slides and a fun labyrinth not to mention the real ice-skating rink where even snowmen have been spotted showing off their skating skills. While enjoying holiday activities, you can occasionally revitalize yourselves with the tasty servings of the Snow Restaurant and Ice Bar, while admiring some fine snow and ice sculptures. Tickets to Snowman World are valid for a whole day. Snowman World is an outdoor destination, so don’t forget to dress up warmly!

Embark on a Finnish adventure from Rovaniemi as you explore the beautiful wilderness surrounding the city on a snowmobile. Try some ice-fishing and cook up anything you catch around the campfire, accompanied by hot drinks and a hearty soup. Journey into the depths of the wilderness around Rovaniemi as you drive 30 to 40 kilometers along frozen rivers on a snowmobile. Watch the Nordic scenery fly by as you make your way hidden ice fishing spot in the middle of the wilderness. Learn about the Finnish way of life as your guide teaches you how to drill a hole in the ice and prepare the ice-fishing rod and baits. In the meantime, your guide will prepare a delicious soup lunch, accompanied by hot drinks. If you're lucky, this will be accompanied by the catch of the day. After your retreat to the wilderness, travel back to the starting point in the center of Rovaniemi.
