Immerse yourself in the history of the Grifo, from the origins when the camels still carried the grapes to the cellar and the Timanfaya had just covered the place of the grifo Through the professional tasting of 5 of our best wines we are going to explore the smells, colors and flavors that the trade winds and the volcano imprint on the volcanic malvasia, the listán negro or syrah grown on the family plot. We will accompany the guided tasting with local cheeses from producers on the island. Before the tasting we will visit the three emblematic founding places of the oldest winery in the Canary Islands and the 5th oldest in Spain. In addition, the winery with the longest permanent activity, having produced wines without interruption in our 247-year history. The Wine Museum houses the old winery from 1775, the oldest winery in the Canary Islands. Take a tour inside to discover the tools and utensils used in the 19th and 20th centuries and how wines were made during its operation until the 1990s.
