Full description
Discover the charms of Lanzarote with this full day tour. Enjoy the incredible views of this unique volcanic island. This unforgettable day will start by going to the southern part of the island throughout the lava coast with a panoramic view of Las Salinas de Janubio and Los Hervideros. Then you will visit the sailor’s village of El Golfo to see the green lagoon. The visit continues by going to the the Fire Mountains, where the heat in the interior of the mountain can be felt on the surface. For an additional cost, you will have the possibility to ride dromedaries and enjoy the views with the slow pace of the animal. Then, between volcanoes and craters, visit the Timanfaya National Park where you will discover the geothermic demonstrations and will do the so-called Volcanoes Route. Go deep into the lava fields and feel like you are on the moon. At lunch time, Yaiza, a traditional village with picturesque houses, will be the perfect place for you to stop. After a delicious lunch, the bus will pass through La Geria, the wine town and a good example of how the farmers of Lanzarote have adapted to the environment. You will stop in one of the wineries to taste a delicious wine. From there, travel to the North, going through the old main city of the island, Teguise, and passing by Los Valles and Haría, with its incredible view to the Valle de las Mil Palmeras (Valley of the thousand palm trees). Then, arrive to Los Jameos del Agua to visit this natural cave associated with the artist César Manrique. This volcanic cave has a saltwater lagoon where you can discover a unique species, the albino crab, known as Jameito.

We were the only English speaking in the group. The guide still made sure to make us feel included and kept checking how we are doing. Overall the tour was nicely planned and efficient. The lunch was just too late that our brain simply shut off on our 1 hour journey to lunch. Apart from that a great tour with interesting places to visit.

The tour is well run, the driver and company are great. Lunch was ok. Unfortunately, the restaurant owner seemed stressed and because of this hectic pace he not only distributed the soup on the plates, but also on the tablecloth and unfortunately also on our clothes. But otherwise a successful day.

The tour was excellent, great tour guide & driver, informative, lots of variety. one thing I would check is that they tell you to wait at a specific bus stop, that wasn't in our instructions, it would also help if they described the bus in some way as there are so many, it would just ease the stress.
