What to Expect
Begin your tour with a visit to Perdana Gallery, a museum created to showcase all the gifts, souvenirs, and awards received by the 4th and the longest serving Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad and his wife Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah bt. Mohd.
Then, enjoy new experiences at Langkawi Bird Paradise and have some amazing fun through close interactions with the animals. Sense the animals by touching them, feeding them, and having up-close interactions with unique species.
Afterwards, head to Air Hangat (also spelled as Ayer Hangat) Village, a modern cultural complex located 14 kilometers north of Kuah Town. The center of the attraction here is the three-tiered hot water spring wells. Most interestingly, it is a natural saltwater hot spring which is rare and can only be found in three other countries in the world while freshwater hot springs are common and can be seen in several places.
Pantai Pasir Hitam, also known as the Black Sand Beach, is a peaceful small stretch of beach stained with black sand- the result of the mineral contents in the sand such as iron oxide. It is not covered overall with black sand but in shades of white and black sand. During the wet season, it is blackens as the mineral deposits persistently wash up on the shore. At the end of your tour, you will also visit a local product outlet.
