The whole journey was very well organized! The busses were comfortable. They took us to the highest and largest lake in America - Titicaca! It is so beautiful! We enjoyed crossing the lake and visiting islands Uros (floating), Amantini (homestay) and Taquile. It is amazing how fit the people are there! On Amantini, we had home stay with Esteban and mama Catalyna. They prepared food for us and helped us to explore the island. They do very nice crafts. The room was very clean (we had enough blankets too), the food (vegetarian) very tasty and the overall stay was just great with participating in local fiesta! The family really took care for us. Amantini is a beautiful island with two temples highly recommended for sunset view! Taquile is more colonial island (protected by UNESCO), also very beautiful. There we had a lunch and another dancing fiesta! Our guide was knowledgeable, nice and funny! We received so much interesting information about the people living at the lake!

Everything went smoothly! Victor was the perfect guide and kept us educated, entertained, and always on the right path. The highlight had to be the display of weaving and cactus soap making before an amazing lunch was served. Amazing does not quite cover it ... the food and view was one of the best over our 2 week trip in Peru. Do this trip, and make sure to have some coins / money at hand to tip the kids who sing on the reed boat ("Mercedes") trip around the man made island.

Great experience! We loved going to the islands of Amantani and Taquile and having the opportunity to spend an afternoon and evening with our host family. Our guide Bruno was great, had a lot to teach us and knew how to familiarize us with our families. I recommend ++

Great activity, with lots of explanations from the guide! Superb landscapes! Bring water though because they don't distribute any until lunch!

It's very sporty, there's a lot of elevation gain and at 4000m altitude it's tiring.
