Highly recommended tour to see the highlights of the Altiplano in 5 days. Freddy is am excellent guide - always on top of things, flexible to requests, very knowledgeable about history and geology, and always caring about the well being of all participants. The cars used are safe and comfortable. Food was very good, including really nice outdoor locations for lunch. Hotels are clean and in remote locations also basic - at the high altitude it is getting really cold once the sun is gone, and we did not regret having our sleeping bags with us. There are many flights from Calama airport close to San Pedro de Atacama, so you do not need to drive back to La Paz to get to your next destination. We initially planned to do a similar tour on our own, but this tour with Freddy was definitely the better option.

Great tour! Do dress warmly, as the night go to minus 15 degrees Celsius. The guide spoke good English & and was caring for the group. Note that pretty much all operators drive the same route and stay in the same type of accommodations. So, be prepared to sleep the second night in a hostel/barrack in the nature reserve. Beautiful, breathtaking, but don’t expect Saint Tropez pampering.

Wonderful experience!!! Loved everything we got to see and the guide and driver were great. The guide provided a perfect amount of information about each place and kindly took photos throughout the experience which were shared with us after the trip. It is cold to do this in May/June so make sure to bring warm clothes and say yes to the sleeping bag that you can rent, it’s worth it :)

Jesse was a fantastic guide over the 3 days while Edgar was a great driver. The tour was fantastic and contained so much. We were also very nervous about crossing the border into Chile after hearing some horror stories but they made it so easy.

Amazing ! Perfect organization ! Lunch very good ! Guide excellent a lot of information !
