It was really nice walk around Marseille. Our guide, Charles, was so passionate about telling lots of things about the city, and especially the pictures and maps in the past which he brought for the tour was really helpful to better comprehend how it changed and what happened in this beautiful city. Even though I joined one hour late, he didn’t just ignore the absence and kept contacting me so that I could reach him and he sent me an email to inform me the spots I missed and also good restaurants and places to visit during the stay. I really recommend the tour with Charles!

If you are looking for a walking tour in Marseille, look no further! This is the tour you want to do with Charles Mondon. Our group was composed of four people and Charles took really good care of us. He showed us many precious hidden places and we learned so much about Marseille! We highly recommend this tour because of three things: This walking tour was very well planned, the historic information provided was incredible and most of all, Charles was an extremely caring tour guide! Hats off to Charles and thank you for the fantastic tour!

Charles was a terrific guide, one of the best we have ever had! First of all, the pace of the walking tour was perfect. We could really see much more than if we had tried to do a hop on hop off tour, and he was able to give us more information. He has wonderful English language skills, a very friendly personality, good sense of humor, and in depth knowledge of history. This is a wonderful activity on your first visit to Marseille!

Charles is simply amazing. He is a very knowledgeable person and what is fascinating is he tells historical facts in an exciting way so you learn very well. I wish all the history teachers tells history classes like him ! I remember every detail of the trip thanks to his storytelling skills. I would recommend this Tour %100 to anyone who visits Marseille.

Charles was a great guide! He gave us a wonderful overview of the history of Marseille and of the sites we visited and kept it interesting. Perfect length at 2 1/2 hours long tour. Never rushed and he gave us good recommendations for places to eat and other sites to see on our own. Ten stars!
