Bus trip from La Spezia to Pisa was great. The tour allowed 3 hours in Pisa, but there is a lot to do there, so we could have used even more time. The guide gave clear instructions on when/where to meet up first the trip home. But we had difficulty finding the bus because it had been moved from where we got off it! Also, our guide was great, but at the end of the tour she announced that she would not be riding the bus back with us because she had a high fever all day ! That made everyone worry about getting sick; maybe she should not have come to work that day.

We opted for this tour at the last minute as we had planned a self-organised tour to Pisa, by taking the train from La Spezia. But the elderly folks with me were tired from too much walking on our previous port stops. This tour was perfect - the bus was just outside the terminal building (we were grouped by coloured stickers) and was very comfortable. At Pisa we did our own thing (we had no plans to climb the tower) and returned to the ship well in time.
