The dramatic and scenic “World’s Most Dangerous Road”, locally known as “Death Road”, “Camino de la Muerte” is a must-do adventure activity in South America. Drive up from La Paz, Bolivia, and begin biking at wind-swept La Cumbre at 4700 meters altitude. At this height, you’ll get fantastic views of a number of snow-covered peaks. From here, descend rapidly down a twisting asphalt road among mountain peaks, grazing llamas, alpacas, and tiny villages.
