What to Expect
Bring on the adrenaline.
Go for a full day's rafting on the Río Tenorio. Leave from La Fortuna or from Monteverde. Take a scenic drive along the beautiful, but windy road of Lake Arenal and get great views of the Arenal Volcano on the way.

Then begin a beautiful 2.5-hour rafting trip along the arid and impressive canyon of the Tenorio River in Costa Rica’s picturesque Guanacaste province. Get more than 20 exciting rapids, enjoy a fresh fruit snack, hike to a local waterfall, and see plenty of wildlife along the way such as iguanas, tropical birds and monkeys.
This unique rafting tour finishes with a thrilling, 12-foot waterfall drop.
