Overview
Hike the trails of Arenal National Park and enter a tropical forest. See areas devastated by the fury of Arenal Volcano. Discover characteristic flora and fauna with the help of a guide. Then, enjoy some free time at the area's hot springs.
What to Expect
Following pick-up from your hotel, transfer by air-conditioned van to start your hike in the Arenal National Park. See a great variety of flora and fauna characteristic of the area.

Walk through the lava slides from 1992 and listen to the constant activity of the lava flows and sporadic eruptions. On clear days, enjoy a magnificent view of Arenal Volcano, Arenal Lagoon and Chato Hill. At night, the lava flows can stain the volcano shades of red. Your nature guide will provide important information about the characteristics of the volcano, which has been active since 1968.

As an added attraction, purchase an entrance ticket to the hot springs and take a therapeutic bathe. You can be dropped off at the springs at the end of your walking tour to relax for a couple of hours before the transfer back to your hotel.
