What People Are Saying About La Comédie-Française
A really good trip, no problems, got picked up on time. Everything was explained on the bus on the way to Paris in a number of languages making it accessible to everyone. You only get just over 6 hours in Paris which means you have to go around quite fast. Unfortunately we missed the bus back to our hotel, however as explained by the guide on the way there you can catch a metro back to Disneyland from near the leaving point for just over 7 euros.
Good for seeing all the sights in a short space of time. I would recommend taking the two day pass(not available when we went, not sure why as the buses were not that busy). It will take you most of the day to cover all of the routes just sitting on the buses. Make sure you print your ticket before you go as the drivers will not accept a ticket on your mobile.
It makes skimming and scanning numerous Paris highlights possible. For a big city as Paris is, with so many sites to see, I recommend it to all first timers to this city.
A friend suggested I book this tour on my first day in Paris. And he was right! The Hop On Hop Off 1-day tour was a prefect way for us to orient ourselves and decide which sites we wanted to go back and see. It's great that there are 4 different bus lines to help explore different parts of the city. You can use the bus like an above ground metro, though there are some stops where the bus sits idling for like 20 minutes, which can be frustrating.
This is a great way to see all the major sights. The price is reasonable, the staff at major pickup points were friendly and helpful. The big yellow buses are easy to spot even in chaotic Paris traffic. The bus tour was flexible so we were able to get off and on, and move easily from our hotel, near Eiffel, all around town.
