What to Expect
Enjoy a comprehensive morning bus tour of Kyoto, taking in some of the most important sights in the city, such as Nijo Castle, Golden Pavilion, and the Imperial Palace. This is a fun and informative tour, led by an expert English-speaking guide.

After you're picked up from your hotel between 07:55 and 08:45, you'll drive towards Nijo Castle. This is the former residence of the Tokugawa Shoguns. The castle consists of Ninomaru Palace, Honmaru Palace, and an array of splendid gardens.

The next stop is Kinkakuji Temple, also known as the Golden Pavilion. Admire this exquisite 3-story building, located on the shores of the lake, and stroll through its beautiful gardens.

Afterwards, head to the Kyoto Imperial Palace, which was once the residence of the Emperor. From there, you will head back to the New Miyako Hotel, where the tour ends.

Saturdays, Sundays, 14 May to 17 May, before and after the public viewings of the Kyoto Imperial Palace in April and October, during Imperial Household events, and on national holidays: you will visit Kitano-tenmangu Shrine instead of the Kyoto Imperial Palace

25 May and 25 August: you will visit Nishi Hongwanji Temple instead of Kitano-tenmangu Shrine

Every Tuesday in January, July, August, and December, as well as on Wednesdays during the year-end and New Year's holidays: you will visit Ryoanji Temple instead of Nijo Castle
