What to Expect
Discover this famous Turkish Trifecta, the epic towns of Priene, Miletus and Didyma, in this spectacular 8-hour private day excursion that will leave you with a new appreciation of the region’s amazing history.

Our first stop will be Priene, formerly an ancient harbor town. Here, you will see the remains of the grand Temple of Athena, the home of Alexander the Great's, the Gymnasium, Stadium and a small museum dedicate to the town’s remarkable past.

Then onto Miletus, once a major port city, where your will immediately fall upon what has been called the most impressive theatre of Anatolian history.

This epic city has a firm foothold in ancient history, and is said to be the birthplace of urban planning! Also in Miletus is the Hellenistic gymnasium, the Byzantine Church of St. Michael, as well as a Mosque and a Synagogue.

Then it’s back to our comfortable air-conditioned vehicles to head on to lunch before our last stop at legendary Didyma.

Didyma, south of Miletus, is the home of the Temple of Apollo. Visitors would arrive by ship to Miletus and walk the 10 mile “sacred road”, lined with statues of lions, sculptures and sarcophagi to the majestic Oracle of Apollo.

Stand where pronouncements were given to Alexander the Great, King Croesus, and other great leaders that literally altered the course of human history!

Finally, there will be time left to do some shopping in the port city of Kusadasi, which offers much in the way of Turkish goods ranging from jewelry and leather to pottery and carpets.
