What to Expect
Experience the wilderness of the South African bush on a 4-day safari tour to Kruger National Park, with round-trip transfers from Johannesburg or Kruger International Airport. Stay in luxury in the heart of the veldt, and listen to the sounds of wildlife as you fall asleep. Then, take 3 separate game drives to look for the famous “Big 5” and other endangered animals.
As with every safari, animal encounters can not be guaranteed, but the Kruger is one of the largest game reserves in Africa. Home to dozens of species, such as cheetah, rhino, buffalo, wildebeest and elephant, the park is full of rest stops and strategic viewpoints.
Transfer from Johannesburg or Kruger International Airport to the Mpumalanga region of South Africa. Check into your lodge and freshen up as you enter the famous Kruger National Park. Waste no time in looking for wildlife as you take your first game viewing drive in an open-top safari vehicle. Return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Wake for breakfast and enter the Kruger National Park for a full-day of game viewing. Your guide will endeavor to spoil you with sightings of the legendary “Big 5” (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros). Look for other creatures, such as general game and prolific bird life. Stop at one of the rest camps for lunch (own expense). Spend the remainder of the afternoon game viewing for beasts such as kudu, zebra and hyena. Return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Enjoy another breakfast at your lodge before going into the magnificent expanse of the Kruger National Park. Marvel at the colors of the veldt and typical trees, such as mopane and red willow. Enjoy a full-day of game viewing in an open-top safari vehicle pursuing the “Big 5” and other rare and endangered species. Stop for lunch at one of the rest camps (own expense), before returning to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Enjoy a last breakfast at your lodge before the transfer back to Johannesburg or Kruger International Airport. Arrival in Johannesburg will be in the early evening at approximately 18:30.
