What to Expect
Along the Wooden Architecture Trail you’ll find elaborately-painted churches, graceful domes of all shapes and sizes, delicate bell towers, and fine old Polish manor homes and villas. These living examples of historic wooden architecture are among the most valuable monuments of folk culture in the region.
This 6-hour tour begins at 09:00 in central Krakow, or with a pick-up at your city accommodation. You’ll be in the company of a friendly, knowledgeable guide, who will provide commentary on the uncommon history of the entire area and on each individual site.
You’ll travel from Krakow to Raclawice, Paczoltowice, Wygielzow (open-air museum), Mietkow and back to Krakow.
