Amazing trip, really enjoyed it!! We ended up riding quad bikes as there was not enough snow for snow mobiles! We had an amazing time off roading through the forest and through rivers! After that we drove to another area where we had a camp fire, polish sausages and highland cheese, along with tea/coffee (which I didn't try) and mulled wine (which I did try). This was much needed to warm up after the quads! Had time here to talk to our guide Peter G, who was so friendly and knowledgeable! After that we went to the thermal baths. It took us a little while to find where we were going (through the locker rooms, the showers/toilets, up the stairs and into the pools from there) but once we did it was lovely! Wasn't the cheapest for drinks but that is to be expected. I really recommend this trip, and if you get the same guide we did you will be lucky!!
The trip overall was great, the coach journey to Auschwitz wasn't the best to be honest. We thought we were going to be played a short documentary but that wasn't the case. It was really difficult to hear what the organiser was saying, so felt like we were reliant on the other people on the trip to check what was happening. When we got into Auschwitz-Birkenau,we were given headsets and I had a bit of trouble hesring through mine, but it was because I wasnt in the range of the guide as soon as I realised this, it was important to try and not be at the back of the group. The guide was excellent, extremely informative and knowledgeable. The downside to the size of the big group, was we felt like we didn't have enough time to contemplate and reflect on what had happened there and was rushed on. There were lots of big groups and it was well organised in the sense that each group was moved through the tour efficiently, so no 2 groups were in the same space/area. We would visit again.
