Visit Aushwitz Birkenau with a guidebook. Witness the largest camp built on Polish soil by the Nazis that served as a concentration camp and an extermination camp.

Get picked up in Krakow and travel to Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum. After arriving at the museum, collect an admission ticket with the help of your tour leader. Then start your self-guided tour with informative brochure in language chosen.

After visiting the first part - Auschwitz, continue to the second camp at Birkenau, where the mass killings took place.

Such an important place to visit for anyone who has the chance to, I’d definitely recommend going. The transportation was a big coach with heating, which made the long road travel time more pleasant. We visited 4 different sites and had the chance to explore the camps ourselves & a decent amount of time at each one to do so. It’s such an eye opening day and helps you to put history into perspective. At the last camp we visited, there was a cafe/restaurant on site where myself and my friend had a quick lunch before entering the camp but I would still bring some food for the trip as it is a long day.
