      A successful trip

The day trip from Auschwitz to Birkenau was a success. At the starting point in Krakow, the Get Your Guide was quiet and not much exchange of words between the group and the guide. Everyone got a tag on their chest and after that we followed the guide in line for the bus. Maybe we needed some little verbal information about what’s going on, schedules, etc. Along the way, we were shown an impressive documentary about the release of Auschwitz. We went to the destination by bus and on arrival the group was divided into smaller groups led by local guides. The guide on site was knowledgeable. However, there was a small traffic jam at the destination so it was sometimes difficult to get the group together during the tour. A successful day as a whole. Guided tour, but requires active participation from the participant to stay with the group.

      It`s a sad History

The Tour itself was good organized and very interesting, and the Guides from discover cracow are awesome. The right emotion in the right time. Auschwitz is a sad place and we should never forget what happened there and how horrible humans can be. The Place is huge and there is a lot to walk.

Transport from Krakow in a comfortable minibus to Auschwitz, we were met by our guide and shown around the two camps, Due to the number of visitors we were unable to see all of the exhibits but thoroughly enjoyed what we did see. Be prepared for a long walk.
