Highly recommended

The tour of the salt mine was very good. The tour (English) was very informative and easy to understand even for people who don't speak English perfectly. We were only four people in our small group. The entrance by elevator and train at a depth of around two hundred meters is a little experience. It was nice that there were not so many steps, because my wife has a slight walking disability. Since we were only four people, we agreed on a short coffee break of 20 minutes. Unfortunately we couldn't go by boat, which was a bit annoying, we were looking forward to it. Nevertheless, it is much more pleasant here than in Wieliczka. I was there many years ago. There was no crowds here in Bochnia, everything is much more original. It was also nice that the elevator went up again.

We exchanged the mine we wanted to visit, and we only noticed that the day we had the visit. We tried to arrange transportation, call the company, which was not helpful at all. Discover Cracow, a company based in the wieliczka mines, never made it easy for us to exchange tickets, transportation to Bochnia very expensive. After we tried everything to get to Bochnia, with only 30 minutes left to arrive there at 12.30 pm (visit time), we called Get Your Guide again, to help us and ask the guide to wait for us, because we would arrive very soon. After 20min on the phone (between company email exchanges with the local partner), we are told that the guide does not wait, so we did not make the trip nor can we visit the mines. On top of that, the company did not want to return the money from the visit, so we thank Get Your Guide for their kindness in making such a return for the company. We are very grateful.
