We were one of two couples in a mini bus. Plenty of room and a good driver (ish). We were taken to get out tickets then transported to Auschwitz II where we were the only people there. It added to the poignancy. We were then transported back to Auschwitz I where it didn't go so well. We booked an "unguided" trip and yet we were herded around like sheep because of some excuse about the Coronavirus (it made no sense and nobody could explain why). Thus, much of the emotion was removed and were simply pulled from place to place, without time to spent reading the personal accounts (which is our thing). It made the second part quite disappointing. On the way home the driver was distracted several time by text messages on his phone which he then replied to and by 2 phone calls. This made the journey home quite stressful.

Only the most wonderful impression. We met at the indicated place, 10 minutes before departure we were placed on the bus. We left at a clearly indicated time. The road was comfortable. Booklets were handed out in front of the entrance to Auschwitz 2- Birkenau (it would be better if they were handed out at the beginning of the trip). We spent almost 3 hours in Auschwitz 2- Birkenau, then we went to Auschwitz 1. We were handed out tickets at the entrance. Everything was organized at the highest level. Thank you so much for a comfortable tour. Highly recommend!

Wear sensible footwear as the ground is uneven and it was very wet and muddy when we were there. Take a pack lunch and drinks to save time as the food is poor quality and expensive in the cafe. Take 2 zly coins for the toilets. An enjoyable well organised day.
