Full description
See the highlights of Kotor on a private 1 or 2-hour cruise. Board a comfortable boat — complete with soft seat cushions and stocked with refreshing cold drinks — for a scenic, panoramic ride along the shoreline of the ancient Bay of Kotor. Stop at the small island in the middle of the bay that is home to Our Lady of the Rocks Church. Legend has it the artificial island was created stone by stone from local fishermen who would lay stones upon a specific rock where shipwrecked crewmen saw her and decided to build a church in tribute. Step inside the interior of this small, 15th century church to see a great marble altar holding an icon of Our Lady of the Rocks by famous Balkan painter Lovro Dobric. Adorning the walls are various Baroque paintings by well-known Kotor painter Tripo Kokolja - most notable among them being The Crowning of Mary, Mary's Death, and Exaltation of the Holy Mother of God. From here, you will return to the boat for a ride across the waters to the quiet, picturesque town of Perast, a UNESCO World Heritage site that was once a popular vacation spot for Russian czars and Venetian princes. Explore the ancient village filled with 16 Baroque palaces, 17 Catholic churches, and 9 defensive towers. With this informative tour you will quickly understand how this stunning area became a beacon for artists, fishermen, and visitors alike.

    Great Tour

This was a great tour and enjoyed all the more because there was only the three of us so we had the boat to ourselves. The weather was also brilliant which made it even nicer.
