Get ready to board an exclusive private boat and sail for about one hour searching for dolphins, before snorkeling and diving (for these who choose the diving option) in the Kisite marine national park. Kisite Marine national park is the second most famous marine park in the world, after the Australian Marine Park. Start your morning with a local Swahili breakfast offered on board.Explore 30 kilometers of turtles, marine tortoise, bearreeffs, coral reefs and different types of marine fishes. Next sail to Wasisni Island where your lunch of sea food and Swahili dishes will be served. After lunch, you’ll have the option to do a guided tour of the Wasini island and experience the local Swahili culture, visiting the beautiful coral garden, mangrove forest and fishing village to learn more about the Swahili people and their history. Your local guide will give you an in-depth explanation and background throughout the tour. Alternatively, you can relax at the restaurant, enjoying the sea view and the breeze. Once you are done with the island tour, board the boat and back to the mainland where you will take a guided tour of the Shimoni Slave Caves. Then, start the journey back to your accommodation. The tour normally ends at around 3:30pm.

From Mombasa: Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park and Wasini Island

Drive to Wasini Island along Mombasa – Lunga Lunga highway, a distance of 45 km to the south of Diani, arriving at around 8.30 am at the Shimoni KWS for ticketing then we start the boat ride for one hour searching for dolphins. We have a light breakfast, fruit, and some soft drinks onboard. Sail to Kisite Marine National Park where you will snorkel and swim for 1 to 2 hrs. Afterward, we sail back to Wasini Island for lunch mainly seafood and Swahili dishes (we have an option for the non-seafood that is vegetarian/ chicken). After lunch, you can have a village walk for about 30 minutes on the Island and then sail back to Shimoni jetty arriving at around 3:30 pm. We then proceed to Shimoni Slave caves just 200m from Shimoni jetty. Learn the history of slavery in the area while touring the cave. The cave stop takes between 20 and 30 minutes. Then you drive back to your hotel arriving at around 5:00 pm.

You will be collected from your hotel in Diani Beach and drive to Shimoni, a small fishing village. On the way, pass by small villages, sugar cane plantations and fields of cassava.  In Shimoni you will board a traditional Arabian Dhow to cruise to the Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park. Be sure to look out for dolphins as you head out to sea. Tea, coffee, mineral water, soft drinks, biscuits, mandazis and pizza bread will be served on the dhow. You'll go snorkeling at two different sites. There will be plenty of photo opportunities, so bring your camera. If you have an underwater one, even better. Lunch will be served on Wasini Island at a private cliff-top restaurant. Admire the views and enjoy a delicious meal of fish and crab, followed by citronella tea or fresh Kenyan coffee. After lunch, relax for a while and then head back to the mainland to take a bus back to your hotel.

Spend a day exploring Wasini Island and its surroundings on this day trip from Diani Beach/Mombasa. A slip into the Blue Ocean water and snorkel with the playful dolphin pods and a walk around the small island village Makes our tour a one of it kind. Pick up at approximately 0730hrs from Diani or 0500hrs Mombasa Beach Hotels (depending on your Hotel or place of stay). Later drive to Shimoni which will take about 1 hour 45 minutes passing through villages, where you can see snapshots of the real Kenya; Coconut plantation, Mango trees, Cashew Nuts, mangroves, also Sugarcane plantations. On arrival, you will be met by our Team at the harbor. We make a short stop as our guides make payments of the Marine Ticket office and head to our Boat. Here we will either use an Arabic Dhow or a fiber Boat. The Fun starts here! We cruise the sea on our boat/Dhow, on our way The Captains will cruise to the great spotting sites.. Always have your camera ready to grab that quick snap of the Dolphins jumps and plays. this leaves you with Awesome and memorable Experience. We stop at the Kisite Mpunguti Island for snorkeling. Our Swimming instructors and captains will take you through the snorkeling one at a time so that you can have a look of the beautiful underwater creatures and Fun. The trip was REALLY great! We had lot of fun😍 Guys who guide us were really funny, but also responsible. They took us perfect pictures on gopro under the water! The food was also great! We really recommended! Best experience. If we go back to Kenya one day, we’ll definitely book this trip again❤️

I highly recommend booking this tour. We had loads of fun and got to see so many dolphins. The entire team was great and took really good care of us. The lunch provided was superb, really good fish. They also took pictures of us underwater snorkeling and gave to us for free. 10/10 experience.

it was a really nice trip!🐬🤿 the sandbank was my personal highlight. Underwater pictures are taken which are sent to you by the boss a day later. Great team. We would definitely book again😍
