Get on the bus at your accommodation and head to Abisko National Park at night. Go to all the best spots to see the aurora. Stop to take photos if you see the northern lights. Your guide will help you to take the best photos if you need it. Then, go for a short walk by the Abisko canyon. Keep an eye out for the northern lights. Then, have a break to enjoy some warm lingonberry juice and some sweet snacks from the local bakery. Afterward, get back on the bus and drive back to Kiruna. Finally, get off the bus at your hotel to finish the experience.

Experience the freedom and serenity of driving through the wilderness of the Swedish Lapland countryside on a guided snowmobile ride. Spot the northern lights from locations far away from the light pollution of the city and stop for a Swedish fika, sweet snacks from the local bakery & warm lingonberry juice. Our tours starting point is in Poikkijärvi a village by Torneriver 15 km from Kiruna city. At the camp you will be equipped with high quality snowmobile gear aimed for snowmobiling adventures in the Arctic climate. Snowmobile gear: overall, shoes, gloves, facemask, helmets and wool socks. So you come with your own clothes and we will provide you with the extra top layer customized for the outdoors. When we are dressed and ready, we will go to the snowmobiles for safety instructions and educate you how to drive the snowmobile. Never driven a snowmobile before? -No problem! Everyone is a beginner the first time. Our experienced guide will teach you how to drive in a safe and fun way so we will have the best possible experience. At the end of the tour it will feel like its a peace of cake. As a driver for the snowmobile you need a valid driving licens for car in your country, as a passenger you only need to bring your camera to capture some of your moments on a photo. Okey, let the fun begin. We will go on tour that’s approx 32 km through the variety of the landscapes in the area on the river, lakes, forest and mountains. You will be in the winter wonderland. Far away from the light pollutions surrounding the town. The dark sky will increase your chances of seeing aurora borealis dancing in the sky. Halfway we will stop for a Swedish fika. Here is a good place to switch driver if you are going on a shared snowmobile. We will help you to immortalize your memorys with pictures, so you can return to this place when ever you want again. Back at the camp we changes clothes and the minibus will drive you back to your accommodation. (We can not guarantee that the northern light is visible because its a weather phenomenon beyond or control. But we can guarantee that we will do our best for you to have a wonderful experience anyway.)

Watch the lights as you stay warm by the fire and enjoy hot drinks. Get picked up from your accommodations in Kiruna and meet your friendly guide and group for the night. Let your expert team find a suitable location with a clear sky to make your camp. Get help with setting up your own camera so you can take some photos of the Northern Lights. Wait to catch a glimpse of bright green to illuminate the starry night sky. Your guide will also take some pictures of you and the aurora in the sky. Watch the aurora dance above you as you listen to the crackling campfire keeping you warm and cozy. Be served hot drinks and reflect on your magical night as you head back to Kiruna.

Spend the day travelling by dog sled through the exciting wilderness, and stop at the wilderness camp for some Swedish Fika, get to know the sled dogs, and then travel back to the starting point. During the dog sledding adventure, your professional musher/guide will drive a sled that accommodates up to four guests. Having a professional musher drive the sled ensures the highest levels of safety for you, and allows healthy guests of nearly all levels of physical ability to enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime dog sledding adventure. While your professional musher controls the team of dogs, you can sit back, relax, take lots of pictures, and enjoy every second of your time in the Arctic wilderness. Approximately halfway through the dog sledding adventure, we will stop at our remote Arctic wilderness camp where your guide will prepare a warm fire, piping hot drinks, and classic Swedish Fika. An example of what might be served is a warm cup of coffee or tea and steaming cinnamon rolls. Spend some quality one-on-one time with your dogs as they love to cuddle and enjoy a belly rub in exchange for providing you with the thrill of riding behind them in a classic dog sledding adventure. After you have had a chance to relax by the fire, we will hop back on the dog sled and continue with our 10 – 12 KM circuit.

In the deep snow the best way to walk is with snowshoes. After picking you up from Kiruna town's central area, we will take you to our home in Kalixforsbron, where you will get dressed in winter clothing. Snowshoes have been used for thousands of years as a way to traverse the deep snow by spreading out your weight so that you do not sink. On the hike, your Guide will tell you about nature and wildlife in the Swedish Tundra. We keep an eye out for animal tracks and trails to identify. You will learn how to find dry firewood in the snow covered forest, to make a warming fire. To further broaden your survival techniques in the harsh arctic environment, try ice fishing on Sir Folke’s frozen lake. Back home we will warm up around an open fire in our Nordic tipi with hot soup and sandwiches as well as traditional Swedish Fika. Afterwards we will take you back to Kiruna Town.

Capture the true feeling of a winter night in the arctic. Your guide will take you to learn the wintry way of movement with snowshoes. While walking on the snow, you will experience how the milky light of the moon and stars cast enchanting shadows through the snowfields. In Abisko there is a lot of animals that dwell in the birch forest during winter, so the possibility to see a lot of tracks is quite big. Most likely you will see tracks of forest hare, ptarmigan, foxes, lemmings, and if you are lucky you might even spot tracks form a moose. During the tour we will have a break and enjoy some warm berry juice while the only sound you hear is the sough of the forest and fells. If you are lucky, you may even see the Northern Lights dance over the lake Torneträsk and over the mountaintops. If there is a full moon and a clear sky you will also get a spectacular view over the Abisko mountain range which includes one of Sweden’s most famous mountain formations Lapporten which is a U-valley sculptured by the ice age.

Enjoy a magical evening around the crackling fire in the tipi outside the beautiful Lodge Máttaráhkka where you also get to visit the reindeer. After we have enjoyed the tipi dinner, we drive with easy-to-maneuver snowmobiles up to the top of Mt. Ednamvárri away from the light pollution. The mountaintop offers endless views over the Arctic tundra and the Abisko Alps The guide will bring a camera and take pictures throughout the entire evening for your memories. Welcome to our home! Your trip starts by meeting your guide and taking the journey through the mountains and into the forests of magical Swedish Lapland. On arrival at the ICEHOTEL you will receive your entrance ticket and be able to explore the worlds first hotel made completely from ice! Marvel at the amazing individually sculpted Art Suites, Ice Rooms and Ice Church whilst learning about how this one-of-a-kind hotel is designed and created each year . Finally head to the Ice Bar to enjoy one of the coolest drinks you will probably ever have! Following the tour you will have the chance to have lunch in the comfortable restaurant, take a coffee in the stylish bar or buy some souvenirs from your experience at this truly amazing hotel, before going back to Abisko and Björkliden. The Icehotel is in a small village called Jukkasjärvi which is located approximately fifteen minutes from the Kiruna Airport. Because of this close proximity to the Kiruna Airport, many of our guests choose to book this exciting daytrip on the final day of their trip to Abisko, essentially using the tour as an inexpensive and seamless way to enjoy a nice daytrip that takes them in the direction of the city and the airport. You are very welcome to bring your bags with you on this day trip and then catch a bus or taxi directly from the Icehotel to the Kiruna Airport or to another hotel in Kiruna. This strategy works particularly well for clients who fly to Stockholm on one of the afternoon departures from the Kiruna Airport. The winter hotel is constructed during the early winter and thus is usually finished in mid-December. Before this time you will still have access to the amazing ICEHOTEL 365 which allows guests to step inside a sparkling, subfreezing environment all year round thanks to new technology in combination with traditional building methods. Included within the ICEHOTEL 365 building is the Ice Bar which means you will have the chance to visit it in the early winter as well. Minimum age allowed for this activity is 5 years old. If you are staying in Björkliden the pickup time is 9:00 AM. RETURN TIMES Departing from Jukkasjärvi 2:00 PM. All guests returned to their hotels by 4:00 PM.

With the local guide, your evening begins with a visit to the reindeer next to the lodge where we will also have a big tipi dinner around the fire. After enjoying a good BBQ meal we hit the road with a warm and comfortable minivan driving you around calm roads around Lapland to the very best viewing points to experience the majestic Northern Lights.
