What to Expect
On this full-day tour you will discover Jamaica’s heritage as you explore the Blue Mountains. You will visit the Devon House Mansions, one of Jamaica’s most celebrated historical landmarks. It is the architectural dream of Jamaica’s first black millionaire George Stiebel.
You will then explore the Bob Marley Museum, situated on the site of the legendary musician’s home which he purchased in 1975. This house, featuring 19th-century architecture, was Marley's home until his death in 1981. It was converted into a museum 6 years later by his wife, Mrs. Rita Marley, and displays Marley's personal treasures.
Continuing on the tour, you will visit the Décor VIII Jamaican Art Gallery, offering an extraordinary collection of Jamaican fine art, finely crafted accent furniture, collectibles, and other unique items only found in Jamaica. You will then have lunch at Café El Centro.
You will then begin the Blue Mountain coffee tour. Sitting on top of this mystical mountain paradise is the 200-year-old Craighton Estate Coffee Farm and Great House, one of Jamaica’s national historical treasures. Built in 1805, 2,600 feet above sea level, Craighton spreads across 80 lush and inviting acres.
For luck, be sure to ring the bell that still hangs at the Craighton gate, brought to the property by the original owners over 200 years ago. The tour will give you an exclusive Blue Mountain coffee experience, a nature’s getaway, a journey back in time, and a place to truly unwind and relax.
