Arrive at the large village of Imlil located at the foot of the High Atlas Mountains, then pass through the incredible Kik Plateau. Next, embark on a 30-minute camel ride and soak up views of the surrounding landscapes. After your ride, enjoy a relaxing tea break and learn about local Berber culture, as well as their traditions, history, and way of life. Pass through several Berber villages on your way to the Amizmiz Valley, then arrive at Tinirt Village where you can have lunch at a traditional Berber house. After lunch, continue the tour to the Great Plain of Haouz, passing through the village of Ouled Mataa which was originally inhabited by Bedouin Arab tribes from the desert. The day ends with a tour of the Agafay Desert, where you can take incredible photos for your holiday album, and marvel at the rugged Moroccan landscape that surrounds you. Arrive in Tahnaout and visit a women-managed argan oil co-operative. Discover how the argan nut is pressed to make the famed argan oil products of Morocco. Receive a warm welcome in Imlil with a glass of mint tea before traveling past stunning waterfalls and small Berber settlements. Pause in Tamatert to take in the views of ancient irrigated terraced fields, surrounded by cherry and walnut trees.  Feast on a traditional Moroccan meal in Ait Souka at the home of a Berber family. Relax with scenic valley views from a sun-bathed rooftop terrace.  After some rest, board your vehicle and travel through the scenic Kik Plateau, with spectacular 360-degree views. Gaze in awe at the magnificent High Atlas Mountains as you pass through stone desert, barren light brown plateaus, oases, and rolling hills. You will be picked up from your hotel with the best quality and condition of car to take the road to the desert Agafay morning departure between 9am-10am and afternoon departure between 3pm-4pm. Taking a secluded mountain road that stands 1700 meters above sea level, you'll soon arrive at the third valley of your adventure: Kik. Along the way, you'll pass through traditional Berber villages constructed from adobe and stone. Stop for a delectable lunch in a typical Berber house. After lunch, explore the final valley, Takerkoust, which features a panorama of lush valleys unfurling below. After a convenient pickup from your accommodation in Marrakesh, enjoy a scenic drive towards the Agafay desert. After 30 minutes, make a stop to see how elderly Berber women press argan nuts to extract the oil needed for their products. Get a warm welcome with a cup of tea and Berber music, then discover more about argan oil. After this visit, continue for another 10 minutes to the rocky Agafay Desert to reach the starting point of your next activity, quad biking. Here, meet your guide and get a safety briefing along with an introduction on how to use the quads. Then, ride your quad through the sloping dunes of the Agafay desert. Feel the thrill of navigating the rugged desert landscape and reach dizzying speeds. After the activity, make your way to a Berber camp. Settle down for a traditional meal beneath the desert sky, watch the fire show, and dance to authentic Berber music. After the show, enjoy a relaxing transfer to your hotel in Marrakesh.

Then we will continue our drive to the Atlas Mountains where our walking adventure will begin. We will pass through the quaint Berber villages dotted throughout the Imlil Valley--stopping as frequently as you like to rest and take photos-- then enjoy a lunch prepared lovingly in the traditional Moroccan way by a local family. Afterwards drive to the heart of Agafay rocky desert for the camel ride. you will be back in your hotel at 7:00 pm Saturday and Tuesday tours also include a visit to a local Berber farmer's market. Imlil Village and Kik Plateau Day Trip At the scheduled time, we'll swing by to pick you up at your hotel in Marrakech. Then, we'll hop on a 4x4 jeep to kick off this tour through the imposing Imlil Valley. We'll begin by traveling through the Haouz plain towards the Agafay desert, located just an hour’s drive from the city. Our first stop will be at the man-made Lalla Takerkoust Lake, whose water runs down from the majestic Grand Atlas Mountains. Continue your excursion to the settlement of Aguergour, where you'll enjoy Moroccan mint tea with a local family who will explain their traditions and way of life. Learn the customs of this nomad village as you explore the breathtaking Kik Plateau. Before reaching the village of Imlil, we'll visit the small town of Asni and, if the tour takes place on Saturday, we'll explore the local Amazigh market, where the people of the Atlas Mountains come weekly to shop. Next, head to the village of Imlil, located in the high Atlas Mountains, and embark on a walking tour accompanied by an English-speaking guide. Admire the hamlet’s typical buildings, adapted to the rugged landscape of the peaks, and then set off on a 1-hour tour by mule to get a closer look at this unique scenery. Then, we'll climb back on the all-terrain vehicle to head back to Marrakech. During the journey, you'll come across various Amazigh settlements scattered across the mountains. We'll see towns such as Aroumed, where we'll stop to enjoy the terraces lined with cherry and walnut trees. We'll even be able to admire the highest peak in North Africa, Jebel Toubkal from this vantage point. By now, you'll have worked up an appetite! Before ending the tour, you'll be able to enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal in Tagadirt in the home of an Amazigh family if you wish. After lunch, we'll take a short walk around the village and finally head back to Marrakech. After 8 hours of sightseeing, the tour will come to an end back at the starting point.
