A brilliant day of snorkelling and exploring the Surin Islands. The guide was amazing, she swapped the activities around to make the most of the tides and ensure we weren’t competing with other boats in each spot. The rest of the support team for the trip were brilliant too, ensuring we had snacks and drinks and all the equipment we needed. The islands themselves are sensational and we felt like we had enough time at each stop to really enjoy it. The only small niggle is we were told the boat journey would be 1hour 15 and it was closer to 2 hours, just to manage the expectations.

Benefit from early morning pick-up from your hotel in the Khao Lak area and depart for the Surin Islands by speedboat. Snorkel at some of the best spots in Thailand and immerse yourself in the underwater world and turquoise waters. Visit the village of Moken to meet the locals and explore their unique culture and houses. Learn more about their way of life, and then stop for lunch on the beach at around midday. Go to 2 more snorkeling sites in the afternoon to explore the amazing coral gardens. Journey back to the Khao Lak area and get dropped off at your hotel at the end of a memorable trip.

This was the best trip of our holiday and is definitely worth going on in my opinion. The crew were funny, friendly and showed us the best spots to snorkel. The tour guide was Stephanie who was hilarious and the best tour guide I have met, and I have been on many trips. The snorkeling was amazing with so much to see, I would definitely recommend a good underwater camera if you want to capture the beautiful, underwater scenery. Even when we went to beach to relax there were mini hermit crabs walking along. The food and drinks provided were delicious, especially the iced coffee and toffee cake on the way back. If you want an amazing day to remember definitely book this trip, I will be going on it again when I return to Thailand 🥰
