Explore Great Keppel Island on a full-day trip from Yeppoon with round-trip transfers with Keppel Konnections. For those just doing a day trip and not staying overnight, please select either our 7:30am or 9:00am morning departure, you can return at 2pm or 4pm. Depart from the Keppel Bay Marina and cruise over to Great Keppel Island. Take in the coastal views before disembarking directly on the picturesque Fisherman's Beach. Make your way to the beachfront Keppel Dive & Snorkel's hut to collect your snorkeling equipment. Head to the nearest reef directly off Shelving Beach or Monkey Beach to see the world beneath the waves. Enjoy plenty of time to explore any of the 17 beaches on the island. Stop at The Hideaway Bar & Bistro and tuck into a delicious lunch. A choice of burger or Caesar salad, including a can of XXXX or Great Northern, wine, or soft drink. After a day of adventure, return your snorkeling equipment to the hut and board your return ferry back to Yeppoon.

Hop on either Spirit of Keppel or Calippo and ferry across the water to Great Keppel Island. Arrive at Fisherman's Beach, and enjoy a full day to enjoy and explore the natural beauty that the island has to offer. Indulge in a delicious lunch at GKI Hideaway and choose between a burger or Caesar salad and a beverage. Choose from a Great Northern can, XXXX Gold, house wine, water, or a soft drink for your beverage. Pop into the Hideaway Reception to get information on the island, walking paths, and snorkeling information. Pick a spot on the beach and flop yourself on the white soft sand for the day. Finish your day by catching the ferry back to Rosslyn.

Visibility for snorkeling is usually very good in the region but can be impacted by weather conditions and tides so some days will be better than others. Snorkeling gear is provided and the crew will point you in the right direction for the best snorkeling on the day. Finish the day off right with a complimentary glass of champagne, cheese, and deli platter, and take in a magical sunset on the cruise back to Yeppoon. You are welcome to bring alcohol in moderation but this is restricted to beer, wine, and premix drinks. No bottled spirits are permitted. There are large eskies (cool boxes) on board with ice for your cold drinks and snacks. In accordance with safety recommendations, no alcohol can be consumed before snorkeling, and alcohol consumption during the day cruise must be in keeping with safe boating and swimming guidelines.
