Know Before You Go
When packing be aware that dress standards are conservative throughout Asia. Modest clothing is recommended. This means clothing that covers your shoulders and knees. Singlets, tank tops and topless sun bathing are all unacceptable. When visiting religious sites men often need to wear long trousers and women a long skirt or sarong. If you are happy with the services provided by your local guides and drivers a tip - though not compulsory - is appropriate. It is of great significance to the people who will take care of you during your travels, inspires excellent service. Please consider this when budgeting for your extra expenses on this trip.
