The Everest Panorama Trek – 09 Days…of sighting some of the loveliest mountain spots on the planet, including the highest peak in the world.
What to Expect
We hop on a thrilling scenic flight to Lukla and begin trekking through the land of the legendary Sherpas into the Sagarmatha (Everest) national park, the highest conserved park in the world till now. Since the successful ascent of Everest the Khumbu region has enjoyed a lot of international attention. On this trip, we follow the footsteps of Tenzing Norgay, Hillary, Bonnington and Messner, legends who first made it to the Everest. We follow the classic trail to Namche bazaar, Khumjung. From Tengboche to Pangboche (3,985m) the trail rises through green grassy meadows where yaks graze. After touring the quiet monastery at Tengboche .we reach the sandy plains of Gorakshep. Then we climb up amongst large boulders to the broad summit of Kalapathar at (5,545m), which offers the best views of Mt. Everest . Whether it may be called Everest, Sagarmatha or Chomolungma, the highest peak on this planet is stunning to behold. Our venture will conclude at Syangaboche or Lukla and we hop our flight back to Katmandu.

Overnight in Namche.B.L.D

Day 04: Acclimatization day in Namche, with some rest

Acclimatization is most important before proceeding to a higher elevation. This also helps the body get used to the different elevations we climb up to; It is therefore recommended that you take a short hike up to Syangboche airport and Everest View hotel. Our rest & acclimatization programs must be well balanced and this is why we spend two nights in Namche so that our bodies get geared for the higher altitudes. Overnight in Namche. B.L.D

After b/fast we leave Namche & head up to the western part of the Khumbu called Thame which is a village on the same level as Namche. We walk to the pretty village of Khumjung with many old traditional houses as well as a gompa at the top end of town. We will also have time to visit Hillary’s school & the monastery with the myth that is the yeti’s scalp; also, at the nearby village of Khunde is the famous hospital built by Sir Edmund Hillary, an important center of health care in the region. It will also be a great experience to interact with the local folks which you will find very interesting. Overnight at this wonderful lively village

Day 07: Trek from Khumjung to Tengboche {3864m}B.L.D

Tengboche stands propped up on a saddle at 3864m in a clearing surrounded by dwarf fires and rhododendrons. The views here are truly awesome, from the beautiful Ama Dablam to Lhotse and Everest at the head of the valley. The gompa has been rebuilt since a tragic fire in 1989 destroyed it. The monastery is well worth a visit.
