You will be driven to Hilltop Nagarkot for an early breakfast, where 8 of the world's 10 highest peaks will be visible from your table. If you are lucky, and the day is clear, you will see panoramas that stretch from Everest in the east to the Dhaulagiri massif in the west.
Once your are fully geared up on your bike, set off along the winding sealed roads en route back to Kathmandu. Your guide will take you on a route that provides the perfect balance between a great work-out and the chance to experience the local culture. Descend 2,345 feet (700 meters), with off road options through terraced hills and rice fields.
Pass mountain villages, stopping in the 16th-century Kingdom of Bhaktapur for lunch. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its temples and rich culture, Bhaktapur will be a highlight as you wander around Durbar Square, disappearing down tiny streets of fascinating architecture to see art made of wood, stone and metal.
