What to Expect
The Annapurna Circuit Trek is regarded as one of the best trek routes of the world. Annapurna Circuit Trek offers you the perfect mixture of natural beauty and cultural experiences. This trek combines trekking, hiking, sightseeing and a cultural tour into a single travelling experience. You will be able to discover fantastic views of the beautiful Himalayan peaks like the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Machhapuchhre.

The Annapurna region is where the cultural bio-diversity of the Gurung, Magar and Manangi communities continue to exist in their traditional form in the lap of the majestic Himalayan Mountains. The highest altitude you will ascend during this trek is the Thorong La Pass at 5,416 m (17,769 ft). You will  start the Annapurna Circuit Trek from Besisahar and conclude the trek in the same place or you can even take another route through Nayapul.
Itinerary:

Day 01: Kathmandu to Bahundanda (1310m.)
Drive to Bahundanda from Kathmandu.

Day 02: Bahundanda to Chamje (1430m.)
Trek to Chamje from Bahundada. You will trek along the steep and slippery trail running through paddy fields, passing through tiny Tibetan villages. The trail ascends through the rhododendron forest to Chamje.

Day 03: Chamje to Bagarchhap (2160m.)
Today you will trek from Chamje to Bagarchhap. The path goes along the river through bamboo groves. You will also cross barley and potato fields near Dharapani. You will visit the Tibetan Monastery at Bagarchhap and view Annapurna 2 and Lamjung Himal.

Day 04: Bagarchhap – Chame (2670m.)
The trail climbs along the mule track through pine and fir forest and then follows the river for a time among the higher oak and maple trees. Stay at 2710m.

Day 05: Chame to Pisang (3200m.)
The trail follows through the river valley. Stay at Pisang (3210m) with good views along the way of Pisang peak and Annapurna 2.

Day 06: Pisang to Manang (3540m.)
Work through the fields of grazing Yak and a wide variety of crops. This large Tibetan settlement provides good views of Annapurna 2, 3, 4, Gangapurna and Tarkekang.

Day 07: Acclimatization at Manang (3540m.)
Today is a rest day to acclimatize to the higher altitude. Time to visit monasteries, take advice from the Himalayan Rescue Association and observe the spectacular views of the Himalayas.

Day 08: Manag to ChuriLeder (4200m.):
Move through alpine pastures to scrubby forests of juniper and rose.

Day 09: ChuriLeder to Thorong Phedi Base Camp (4450m.)
Walking near by the river, it is sometimes possible to see herds of blue mountain elk.

Day 10: Crossing Thorung-La (5416m.) to Muktinath (3700m)
You will ascend steeply to high camp at 4550m then along an undulating trail to the flat top of throng-la( 5416m), from here the trail descends steeply down to Muktinath. This is one of the most important pilgrimage sights for Hindus. It is also home to many ethnic Tibetans. Stay at 3800m.

Day 11: Muktinath to Kagbeni (2810m.)
Gradually walk through fields and popular groves, then into Kaligandaki valley. Visiting an old buddhist Monastery. Stay at 2800m

Day 12: Kagbeni to Jomsom (2670m.)
Descend to Jomsom. This area is a windy place so you start your trek early in the morning. Overnight at Jomsom. This is the headquarters of Mustang District.

Day 13: Jomsom to Pokhara
After having breakfast you'll fly to Pokhara from Jomsom, it takes about 35 minutes to reach Pokhara and you will explore the city.
