Depending on pace and physical fitness, the trip can last from 2.5-4 hours. The goal is for everyone to enjoy time in the water to the best of their ability! Zadar: River Zrmanja Guided Kayak Safari & Waterfalls

The begging of the trip (clothes changing, instructions, boarding and start of the paddling down the river) is at village Kaštel Žegarski . The part of the route from the village to the mouth of Krupa in Zrmanja and Visoki buk (10 meters high waterfall, the highest on Zrmanja) is hour and a half long, and the waterfall will be bypassed by 5 minutes long walk. Going down the river lasts for approximately 4 hours of which one hour is spent on occasional breaks and swimming. Paddling isn’t hard or dangerous, during the summer; the water is clear and refreshing – perfect adventure for beginners. The trip ends in a village called Muškovci, with some free time for swimming before departure. If you have arrived with your own car, we will drive you to the start point, where you had left your car.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the tour! Everything was organized in a straightforward manner and the guides were very nice and funny. Thank you very much for that! However, you should be aware that you will have to paddle a lot. This is of course not the fault of the provider, but rather the current water level and wind conditions. This can be challenging in the long run. You should also be able to walk short distances over rocky and somewhat steep paths so that you can avoid the waterfall. Overall, I highly recommend it!

What a truly magical location to drift past, the activity itself was thrilling but also had points to stop, chill and take in your surroundings. Guides were brilliant, waited for me and my friend countless times as we had never kayaked before and started off going in circles over and over! It’s hardwork on the shoulders but so worth it!! If you’re a more advanced kayaker I can imagine the drops/ rapids aren’t all exciting as to a beginner but with the landscape it’d be a worthwhile run anyway! Loved it!!!

This was a great day of kayaking- starting you off on slow waters but building your confidence for the 3 metre waterfall at the end (if you don’t want to do it you don’t have to) Guides (Adam and Julio) were super friendly and the day was great fun. Make sure to take food and drink in the containers provided for you to paddle with. We paid extra for the transfers and they were seamless and worth the extra. Best kayaking trip we’ve done

Fun activity. Good to know that it is a long physical journey. It was very hot here, 35 degrees. Take lots of water with you. Very beautiful nature and nice atmosphere.

Had a great day, easy to do, well organised, and lots of fun.
