We were fortunate to have a beautiful sunny day and calm sea for our trip. We were also fortunate to see a sperm whale and a hump back whale, which was an unexpected bonus. Our tour guide informed us that an adult sperm whale is about the same length as the boat we were on, but I was disappointed that we didn't get an appreciation of the size of the whale we saw. The crew rigged up the sound system so that we were all able to hear the calls of the sperm whale, and that was brilliant.

Ohhh my Lord!! A once in a lifetime experience absolutely and wholly recommend! Firstly the scenery sea and snow all in one visual field MAGICAL! Then the crew, office, online booking everything to do with this experience was absolutely polished, easy, friendly and one of the best we’ve ever dealt with. Crew and knowledge was outstanding. The effort of “chasing the sonar” and then finally the result… breath taking and spell binding! If the whale wasn’t enough they then found a pod of dolphins and that was the most sensational spectacle I’ve ever witnessed!!! EXCITING, EXHILIARATING & EXTRAORDINARY! Rate at 100% perfection THANK YOU

The trip was very punctual, spot on timetable. The boat facilities and staff were excellent. Alan was a very good host. We were lucky seeing a Sperm Whale, three types of Dolphin, Fur seals and various birds. There was a strong swell on the water and staff dealt sensitively and practically with one of our party who suffered with motion sickness. There were 43 passengers on the boat, the max looks to be about 50 and that was a nice size, for the boat.
