Truly beautiful and satisfying experience, we were accompanied into a very large cave (lucky to catch the largest one in the last 7 years!) and with beautiful internal colors and reflections, despite it being located in a part of the glacier covered by the earthy slopes of the neighboring mountains, which accentuated the surprise effect. Crampons were not necessary because the walls were made of ice but we had rock on the ground, which also required a lot of work from all the staff to prepare and make the route safe. The duration was well within the expected range and there was time to enjoy every moment, with the guide being really nice and also available to act as a photographer. Highly recommended, I will definitely return in the next winters, it's one of them sensory experiences that never tire and make those who experience them truly privileged!
Tour was great. We were the first ones in the cave and got to experience it by ourselves for about 30 mins. Always staying ahead of the groups behind us. We lucked out and got to see a cave that just opened 2 weeks before. Beautiful to see and so glad we did it.

Know before you go
- Keep in mind that the glacier changes constantly and therefore so do the ice caves. The activity provider promises to take you to the best cave of the season but due to the changes in the glacier, the ice caves might not look exactly as the pictures taken months/years before.
- It is recommended to wear warm, preferably waterproof clothing and comfortable walking boots. We need to walk from the parking to the glacier and cave entrance (1,5 km each way).
- There is a minimum age of 7 years old
- The tour will be in English
