What People Are Saying About Johannesburg
It was a beautiful day. Jason was very prompt in picking us up. He informed us of what to expect & was a wonderful driver & guide for us. We were thrilled he encouraged us to visit the lion cubs early...the cubs were very cute & playful. Jason also helped us to visit the cheetahs. If you get a chance, this is a winner of a tour!
The tour is a combination of cultural (Sterkfontein Caves & At the Maropeng Visitor Center) and natural (Lion Park) interests. The lunch at Maropeng with beautiful view of the surroundings was just great and relaxing. Jason Pollard is an excellent and knowledgeable guide discretely accomodating to your needs. Caressing lion cubs and cheetahs at Lion Park is an unforgatable experience. I enjoyed every moment of the tour and recommend it to anyone.
Our guide, Jason, was knowledgable and took care of all our needs. We had ample time for all activities. Somehow, we had no crowds at any location.
This was our first major excursion after arriving in South Africa. The game park was excellent, but we had not yet been to Kruger to see the "Big 5" in the wild. I personally loved the cave (cavern) experience, but it was physically strenuous and might be difficult for some people. The "cradle of humanity" fossils and related museum were amazing! Our guide, Jason, was excellent throughout the long, activity-filled day.
