What to Expect
Venture deep into the heart of South Africa on this 6-day safari adventure, where you will get up close and personal with wild animals on several open-air vehicle tours through Kruger National Park, one of the best protected regions in the world to view wildlife. You will also travel to the kingdom of Swaziland to watch the natives make their unique crafts, including handmade candles and hand-blown glass art, and tour a traditional Zulu village to learn about the native culture.
Day 1: Panorama Route, Kruger National Park
Leave Johannesburg and travel to Mpumalanga Province, known as “Paradise Country.” Travel the spectacular Panorama Route, including the 26 km-long (16 mi) Blyde River Canyon, and marvel at the view of Kruger National Park from God's Window, a cliff ledge over the valley.
Day 2 - Mpumalanga
Embark on a game drive through Kruger National Park, which offers some of the best game and wildlife viewing opportunities in the world. Enjoy a free afternoon to relax or take an open vehicle safari (optional and for own account.) [B]
Day 3 – Open Safari
Enjoy another open-vehicle safari through Kruger National Park, and search for the “Big Five” - rhinoceros, buffalos, lions, leopards, and elephants - as well as prolific birdlife and numerous other game. Enjoy a free afternoon or tour the Sizabantwana Children Care Center. [B]
Day 4 – Swaziland
Travel to Swaziland, an independent kingdom in South Africa, known for its beautiful scenery, craft-making, and a colorful indigenous culture. Visit the Ngwenya glass factory, where you can watch talented glass blowers make enchanting figures from 100% recycled glass. In the afternoon, opt for a complimentary excursion to the Swazi candle factory, where you can watch Swazi wax artists make beautiful candles.[B]
Day 5 – Zululand
Travel to the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve, which contains an immense diversity of fauna and flora and is particularly famous for its conservation of black and white rhino. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before continuing to the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi region for the evening. [B]
Day 6 – Durban
Explore a traditional Zulu village and experience the local culture, partake in local dancing, and enjoy a delicious ethnic lunch. Continue on to Durban, where you will pass Zulu Kraals, Eucalyptus plantations, and sugar cane fields before arriving at South Africa's chief seaport. [BL]

Day 2 - Sabi Sand Conservcancy
Travel through the Kruger National Park for an open-vehicle safari. You will be met by the Sabi game rangers and transferred to Sabi Sabi Game Reserve for lunch. Relax until your late afternoon open vehicle game drive in the game reserve, which offers a great bio-diversity of habitat and wildlife, and an excellent chance of experiencing close encounters with the “Big Five.”
Day 3 - Sabi and Conservancy
Start your day with an early morning game drive in Sabi Conservancy, then enjoy another drive through Kruger National Park before rejoining the main tour.
