Bishnoi village people are considered to be the oldest living environmentalists in the world. Catch a glimpse of their lifestyle and creative skills passed down through generations remaining within the family and community.
You will meet and interact with village men and women dressed in their traditional attire and ancestral silver jewellery. Witness their family’s traditional ceremony, which is a unique customary feature besides the cottage craftsmanship of the potters and weavers. The Bishnois living in western Rajasthan on the fringe of the Thar Desert, have for centuries, been conserving the flora and fauna to the extent of sacrificing their lives to protect the environment.
