What people are saying about Jimbaran
Our guide Kur/Ramly was new to the trade but thanks to his ambition to give great service and reply to all our questions about culture and daily life in Bali, he was on point! His fun and kind spirited personality was perfect and made him the best guide we had all week during our stay in Bali! He was very arranging to our needs as we rather spend more time in cultural sites other than the beach and his Instagram skills definitely came into play when he took our pictures. He even made us a personalized video in his own time showcasing our day together and that is a first for any guide we ever had anywhere and leaves us with a memory for the rest of our lives! He took us to a place for lunch (at our expense as promoted) which was very clean and cute and had great food for a great price. We have no doubt that if this was his service and level of professionalism after two weeks of experience; he has a great future ahead of him as a tour representative of his country! Thanks Kur!
I spent an amazing afternoon. Everything was perfect from the piick until the drop off at the hotel. My driver, Komang gading, has been really kind, on time and made me discover some things like the tasting of coffee and tea on the way to the Uluwatu. The whole programme was really good, everything is made to not worry during the time dedicated for this activity. I had a nice massage in a wonderful spa. The coffee and tea tasting was proposed by Koman Gading and was a really good idea. Then the discovery of Uluwatu and the Kecak dance was a wonderful experiment. Unforgettable!
My guide, Aguz, brought me to Uluwatu Temple to tour the temple and Monkey forest. Thanks to him, I managed to keep hold of my bags and hand held devices. Besides bringing me to the temple, teaching me about the origins, and getting me the best seats in the house to watch the craftful dance/song, Aguz also provided stimulating conversation and I appreciated learning on a personal level the different Hindu traditions, meanings, and philosophy.
The view was superb! I love the by-the-cliff location of the temple and the traditional kecak and fire dance, but its always packed with tourists though. But i guess it all adds up to the charm of the place. Gede, our guide, was so accommodating and kind. He got us the best seat in the kecak performance that is right at the back of the singing men and took us to a good seafod restaurant in Jimbaran Bay. Great first half day tour
