What to Expect
No trip to Israel would be complete without a visit to these 2 holiest of cities. From the bustling streets of Tel Aviv (or nearby towns) you will escape to the Judean Mountains, where you will discover one of the oldest cities in the world, Jerusalem. You will be picked up from your hotel or apartment in central Israel or Jerusalem at the beginning of the tour.  Stopping first at the Mount of Olives, this unique vantage point offers exceptional views of the city and will be the perfect introduction to your tour.

On your journey down into Jerusalem, you will pass the Garden of Gethsemane, a monumental meeting place for Jesus and his disciples. Cross over into the Old City and you will get a sense of the religious divisions that have characterized the area since its founding. Other highlights will include the Church of Holy Sepulcher, the site of Jesus’ crucifixion, the Via Dolorosa, and following in the footsteps of pilgrims, you will visit the almighty Western Wall.

Next stop of the day will be in Bethlehem, alleged home down of David and the birthplace of Jesus. Here you will visit the Church of Nativity, which will bring to light many stories so deeply rooted in the history of Christianity. Not far from here lies the Milk Grotto Chapel, which acted as a refuge for Mary and her family as they prepared to flee for Egypt. If you can navigate the queues, this is well worth the visit.
