Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Old and New Jerusalem
On this full-day tour you’ll explore the holiest of holy cities. Jerusalem is the spiritual sanctuary to Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. You’ll get a comprehensive overview of the city, walking through the quarters of the Old City and visiting the poignant Holocaust Museum later in the day.

Starting at the Mount of Olives you’ll enjoy panoramic view of the dusty city below. Enter the Old City and visit the main attractions, such as the Wailing Wall, the Temple Mount, and the Dome of the Rock.

Walk through the Jewish and Armenian quarters and along the recently restored Cardo. Visit the bazaar and the Western Wall, or Kotel, and proceed along the Via Dolorosa to visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, said to be the place where Jesus was buried. Continue to the New City by car and spend some time at the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 2: Masada and the Dead Sea
You’ll drive to the Judean Hills to the site of one of the most remarkable stories in Jewish history, as then on to the shores of the Dead Sea. The ancient fortified palace of Masada sits precariously on a plateau some 1,300 feet above sea level. It’s an exhausting climb to reach the site, but you’ll make a easier ascent by cable car.

Explore the fortress built by King Herod, and see the remnants of the palace, including the mosaic floors and Roman baths.

After touring Masada, you’ll head to the Dead Sea, located in the Jordan Rift Valley between Jordan and the West Bank. This is the lowest place on earth and its waters feature a high density of salt. Float on the beautiful aquamarine surface and take a mud bath to benefit from the therapeutic qualities of Dead Sea mud.

On the drive back to Jerusalem, you’ll see the Qumeran Cave, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 3: Caesarea, Haifa, Acre, and Rosh Hanikra
See the gems of Israel’s western coast on this full-day excursion. Head up the coast, via Tel Aviv, to the ancient Roman capital of Caesarea. The impressive ruins include a mighty aqueduct and one of the largest amphitheaters of the Roman era. Take a leisurely walking tour of the archaeological excavations before continuing up the coast to Haifa.

Enjoy panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the city of Haifa from one of its most significant sites, the Baha’i Gardens in the Baha’i World Center.

Explore the limestone grottoes of Rosh Hanikra on Israel’s border with Lebanon. Admire the beautiful white chalk cliffs facing the sea, and then continue to Acre at the northern extremity of Haifa Bay.

One of the oldest continuously inhabited sites in Western Galilee, the Old City has been designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and boasts massive city walls, a charming port, an Oriental market and the glorious Jezzar Pasha Mosque, where a single hair from the prophet Mohammed’s beard is kept. Return along the coast to the hotel for the night.

Day 4: Nazareth and Lower Galilee
Begin the final day’s tour by travelling along Israel’s scenic coast via the Plain of Armageddon to Nazareth. In Nazareth, visit the Church of the Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph's Carpentry. Continue on to see the Mount of Beatitudes and Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes at Tabgha. Marvel at the famed Sea of Galilee and the ruins of the ancient Capernaum Synagogue and the City of Jesus.

Visit the baptism site on the Jordan River, overlooking Tiberias, where you can have a baptismal service if you like. On the return journey, you’ll have views of Mount Tabor, the site of the Transfiguration.
