What people are saying about Jeju-si
We initially debated on the bus tour vs. this tour, but we are so glad we went with the private tour as it was custom tailored to our taste. Paul met us in our hotel lobby (not curbside), helped us formulate our itinerary, and then we were off. We requested to stop by a breakfast cafe, then Paul drove us to 5 different landscapes, with lunch in between at a local abalone restaurant. We got to see the beach, Seongsan Sunrise Peak, Manjanggul cave, Bijarim forest, and a folk village. My favorite was the forest as it was a relaxing walk with cool crisp air, but the other sites were very enjoyable as well. Throughout the whole tour, Paul gave us a lot of information about the sites and about Jeju which enhanced our experience greatly. Over all, we could not have been more pleased. Paul even accommodated our request to be dropped at the mall after the tour. We would definitely book with Paul again in the future if we ever get the chance to visit Jeju a 2nd time!
Driver was excellent -- good driver, helpful, cheerful. There was a misunderstanding on timing and charging. The driver had estimated we'd be down from our climb by 3:00 and said to contact him when we were 30 minutes from the bottom. In fact, at 4:00 we were still nearing the bottom and we contacted the driver. As we were meeting up in the parking lot, the office informed me there was a 20,000 won cash charge per hour after the 3:00 time. I pointed out that the voucher said 9 hours, but he insisted. So, I gave the driver the 20,000 won in cash. Still, the overall experience of climbing Mt. Halle was worth it, and the taxi ride itself was very pleasant. (Note: there was no "instructor" but the survey seems to require an answer to be submitted)
Thank you Jiyoung and GetYourGuide for such a wonderful tour around the East side of Jeju. The Manjanggul Cave was unexpectedly magnificent, and the Seongsan Ilchulbong was incredibly gorgeous. You were so patient while waiting for us at the Seongsan Ilchulbong even though we were late. You’ve shown no irritation or annoyance at all. Despite not being the best English speaker, you’ve helped us with all of your enthusiasm. Again, we are very grateful. If given a chance, we would definitely meet you again in Jeju, whether as a friend or a tour guide. Yours sincerely, Ngo Thu Huong
Great communication ( via email and WhatsApp) organizing the day leading into the tour ( thanks June). Perfectly organized tour and guide (Jin) a pleasure to tour with. Well done!
The tour guide was very informative and helpful. She gave us time to explore the areas well and recommended a lot of good places to check out in Jeju. Highly recommend.
